HOW IT BEGAN

Friends to Husband and Wife

Way back when Game Boys were the in thing, we met as children at Bora's summer house -  connected due to our families close friendship ties. 

Fast forward another ten years, our story didn't really start until we met again in London a few years back over brunch.

Very soon we became good friends, but it wasn't until another year later things started to change...

It's hard to say how things developed, it was very gradual but after we went to a concert together in Hackney, it was clear then that there was something more than just friendship.

A week later, Bora made a beautiful bold gesture with a surprise trip to Italy. Neither of us had been to Lake Como before so it was a perfect opportunity to go somewhere new. It turned out that our first Como adventure marked the beginning of our relationship.

When you look across the lake from Teodolinda, there is a small town which is where we first stayed three and a half years ago.

It means so much to us: and we are very grateful that we can share the start of our marriage with our closest friends and family where our journey began, in Lake Como...
